Question 2

What is the cheapest car hire Adelaide option available?

Accepted Answer

Our most affordable option is our economy car hire from just $35/day. All our cheap car hire Adelaide rates include insurance, roadside assistance, and unlimited kilometres within SA.

Question 3

What's included in the rental price?

Accepted Answer

Every rental includes GST, comprehensive third-party insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance, and unlimited kilometres within South Australia. All our vehicles are fully serviced, cleaned, and ready to go. The price you see online is the price you pay — no surprises at pickup.

Question 4

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we hold a small refundable security bond on your credit card at pickup. The amount varies by vehicle type (typically $200-$500). The bond is released back to your card within 7 business days of returning the vehicle in good condition. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Booking is easy! Simply fill out the quote form on our homepage with your pickup date, drop-off date, and vehicle type. We'll send you a confirmation email with all the details. The entire process takes less than 3 minutes. You can also call us on 0422 344 674 for personal service.

Question 6

Can I modify or cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

Question 7

Do I need to book in advance?

Accepted Answer

While we accept same-day bookings subject to availability, we recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance to guarantee your preferred vehicle. During peak periods (holidays, long weekends), book even earlier for the best selection.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. A credit card in the driver's name is required for the security deposit. We also accept debit cards for rental payment, but a credit card is needed for the bond.

Question 9

Can I extend my rental period?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Just give us a call or send an email at least 24 hours before your original return date. Subject to vehicle availability, extensions are easy and hassle-free. We'll adjust your booking and send you an updated confirmation with the new rate.

Question 10

What documents do I need for car rental in Adelaide?

Accepted Answer

You'll need to bring: (1) Valid driver's licence held for at least 12 months (Australian or international with English translation), (2) Credit card in the driver's name for the security deposit, and (3) Proof of identity (passport or driver's licence is sufficient). International visitors should bring both their licence and passport.

Question 11

What is the minimum age to hire a car in Adelaide?

Accepted Answer

The minimum age is 21 years old, and you must have held your driver's licence for at least 12 months. Drivers under 25 may have a small additional daily fee for insurance purposes. All drivers must hold a valid Australian driver's licence or international licence with English translation.

Question 12

Can international visitors hire a car?

Accepted Answer

Yes! International visitors are welcome. You'll need a valid international driver's licence in English (or with certified English translation), plus your passport. If your licence is not in English, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required.

Question 13

Can I add an additional driver?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Additional drivers can be added for a small daily fee (typically $5-10/day). The additional driver must meet the same requirements: minimum 21 years old, valid licence held for 12 months, and present at pickup with their licence and ID. Partners and spouses often qualify for free additional driver status.

Question 14

Can I choose a specific car model?

Accepted Answer

We guarantee a vehicle in your chosen category (economy, sedan, SUV, etc.), but we can't guarantee specific makes/models due to availability. If you have a preference, let us know when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate. All vehicles in each category are similar in size, features, and condition.

Question 15

Are your vehicles automatic or manual?

Accepted Answer

The vast majority of our fleet is automatic transmission. Manual vehicles are available on request for certain vehicle categories. Please specify your preference when booking.
